Medallion Card

Hi Stampers,
One of my favorite stamps is Stampin' Up!'s "Medallion".  Though it is listed as a background stamp, I have found it to be quite versatile and look amazing as a stand-alone.  Today's card has very few elements, is easy to do, and by changing out the color and the sentiment, you can create a wide variety of cards for many different occasions.

You will need:  Medallion and Sincere Sentiments stamp sets; Whisper White and Basic Black card stock; Basic Black classic ink; Basic Black 1/4" grosgrain ribbon; SNAIL;  stampin' dimensionals; corner rounder punch

1. Cut white card base 8-1/2" x 5-1/2".  Score at 4-1/4" to fold in half.
2.  On 5" x 3-3/4" white, stamp medallion image in upper right.  allowing the image to extend beyond the top and side of the card adds interest.
3. Attach a 4-3/4" strap of ribbon to left side of stamped piece, wrapping around and adhering ends on backside.  Adhere this piece to 4" x 5-1/4" black, then mount onto card base.
4. Tie a faux bow onto the strap, using another 6" piece of ribbon. Trim ends as desired.
5. To create the tag, stamp the sentiment on 1" x 2-1/4" white. Trim corners with punch if desired.
Adhere to 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" black.  Mount onto card using dimensionals.
6.  You're Done!

Until the next time, grace to you
              and
Happy Stamping!
